ポイント①：最上級の作り方

「〜が１番小さい」「〜が最高に美しい」という表現をしたいとき、まず男性系が女性系なのかを考えて、形容詞の前にそれぞれにあった le plus, la plus, もしくは les plus を使います。

This is the fattest cat.

C’est le plus gros chat
これが1番太っている猫だ

This is the smallest village in France.

C’est le plus petit village de France.
これがフランスで1番小さい村だ

You are the most beautiful owl.

Tu es la plus belle chouette
あなたは1番美しいふくろうです。

She thinks that the English have the most beautiful gardens.

Elle pense que les anglais ont les plus beaux jardins.
彼女はイギリス人が1番美しい庭を持っていると思う。

The elephants are the biggest animals.

Les éléphants sont les plus grands animaux.
象は1番大きな動物です。

特定なものではなく「何かが聞こえる」という表現をするときは、聞こえるものの前に du, dela, or des を使う。

I hear the dog

J’entends le chien.
犬の音がする（犬が吠えているのが聞こえる）

Do you hear that?

Tu entends ça ?
その音が聞こえますか？

Do you hear the pigs?

Est-ce que tu entends les cochons ?
豚が聞こえますか？

Do you hear this noise?

Tu entends ce bruit ?
この騒音が聞こえますか？

I hear some noise.

J’entends du bruit.
騒音がする

I can’t hear anything.

Je ne peux rien entendre.
何も聞こえません。
